Aalborg is the city where we are going to live for three months, so let's talk about it.
Aalborg is the city in the north of Denmark, located in Jutland. There are 104.885 inhabitants, making it the forth largest city in Denmark.
Fortunately for us, Aalborg is the biggest city in terms of student population with about 20.000 students.

History :

To remember the past of Aalborg, in the city you can find many historical sights.
There is the old Aalborghus Castle (Aalborghus Slot) and some picturesque houses of the 17th century remain in the center of the town.

Also there is the Jens Bang's House, a  building built in 1624 which is a good example of Renaissance architecture.
Nørresundby is the site of the Lindholm Høje settlement and burial ground from the Germanic Iron Age and Viking times. There is also a museum on the site.
